What We Do & Ways You Can Engage

  For immigrants and refugees that have arrived at their destination. Destination is a set of classes taught at the apartment complex where refugees and immigrants live. From a set of 12 classes, four are identified as helpful for this particular community. Classes fall into categories of: Community Services, Housing, Transportation, Employment, Learning English, Education, Health & Hygiene, Budgeting & Finance, Cultural Adjustment, US Laws, and Customized Classes.

  Visit the home of a Muslim to help build a relationship. These visits are intentional and rewarding. Visits show you care and want to get to know your neighbors.

Out of home visits we can offer Mobile ESL Classroom and assess their ESL needs.

  Developing relationships with like-minded organizations helps us to know what others are doing, discover where we can fill in some gaps, and allows us to roll up our sleeves and join in. .

  Reach out to Church Fellowships in the vicinity of Mosques and apartment complexes where Muslims live. Join them in fulfilling their vision to reach the lost. Assist in equipping the saints as we bring the gospel within reach of Muslims… together.

Utilizing our Mobile ESL Classroom is a great way for local congregations to step into relationship building.

Live Muslim/Christian intentional interaction in a Christian home. Sharing a culturally sensitive meal with a group of Muslims and Christians can give opportunity to learn about each other, cultures, foods, and a new friendship could start. Majlis can be for students, singles, or families.

  Challenge Night is an opportunity to gather over a simple meal, fellowship, hear a guest speaker (former Muslim or Partner Organization) challenge and encourage us in the Mission. Besides some time for worship a key component is coming together to pray for one another as we answer the Lord's leading in our lives.

  Various training opportunities to equip and encourage are offered. We help meet you where you are and provide coaching to get you to where the Lord wants you to be. Some examples for ongoing training include a Mosque visit & debrief, how to lead a discussion based or Discovery Bible Study, facilitate small group/community group curriculum for understanding Muslims, outreach group & activities, help in starting an "Up Time- Prayer for the Nations" group in your church or community group.

  Coordinate prayer and meeting of felt needs among Christian and Muslim communities. We will assist with help in connecting a follower of Christ with a Muslim "person of peace". Through understanding of culture and Islam we will help the Christian head off potential misunderstandings as well as assist in repairing relationships when they are strained.
